Description
This piece of figurative calligraphy in the shape of a bow and arrow spells out a proverb in the Swíra language:
Keldi lesuyopmustera tire lesupikperyoli
"For the arrow to fly forward, you must first pull it back."
- A profound consideration indeed, given that the Swíra would ultimately use feigned retreats and parting shots to great effect against much larger Tepatic forces.
The script they use is a mixture of Tepatic glyphs and syllabic signs, which are themselves derived from Tepatic glyphs. For comparison, I wrote the same proverb in this mixed script in the top corner, and in only phonetic signs in the bottom corner.
